Spend 3 to 6 hours with your Favorite Presenters in 3 hour, hands-on intensive workshops

Wednesday, 19 August, 2004

Morning sessions: 9 am to 12 noon
Raw Lunch (included for all sessions) noon to 1 pm
Afternoon sessions: 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm


$90 per person for one session or
$150 for two sessions for one person
all sessions include raw lunch

Presenter Tour #1: Viktoras Kulvinskas & Fred Bisci
6 to 7 hour easy floating raft trip from Peoria to Corvallis on the Willamette River.
4- 8 person rafts only, so this means this trip is limited to 24 people only…so sign up early!

Presenter Tour #2: David Wolfe
Begin by touring the Benton County Historical Museum & then Fort Hoskins Historic Park and Beazell Memorial Park, Kings Valley: 10 miles from Corvallis, 586 acres, 8 miles of self-guided trails. Fort Hoskins was the only Fort in the US built to protect the Indians from the whites! If there is time this group will also stop at the Greengable Gardens for a self tour.

Presenter Tour #3: Bijan
OSU Challenge Course

Presenter Tour #4: Juliano
High Tea in a restored Victorian in Albany after touring the Albany Historic district shops & historic buildings. High Tea is a 3-course raw lunch & desert with either hot or cold teas served in the Traditional English style.

Presenter Tour #5: Paul Nison
OSU Peavy Arboretum/McDonald Forest for forest management and ecology: 12,000acres, 132 miles of varying use trails from .4 to 3.5 miles. Edible weeds as part of the tour, conducted by our local expert Don Bouchet.

Presenter Tour #6: Jameth Dina (Sheridan)
Tour the William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge and historic Fiechter homestead built in 1855: 5,325 acres, 7 trails from 1.1 to 3 miles in length.

Presenter Tour #7: Tim Trader
Mary’s Peak is the highest mountain in the coast range: it has a 1.6 mile loop trail, a 2.5 mile one way trail or a 4 mile hike up the back of the peak (transportation waiting at the top to pick you up!)
