After reading, it seems like the Green Life machine is the best all around purchase with the exception of fruits. Is there a machine that answers all the needs of hard and soft fruits and vegetables. If not, will the Green life do an "o.k." job in juicing soft or should I consider purchasing an "additional" unit?

The Norwalk juicer will juice almost anything, its about $2000.00.. (we dont sell that model).. Aside from that, I believe the green life is an excellent choice for an all around machine for juicing mostly leafy greens and other hard veggies. Some people find it does ok with fruit, others don't. I guess it depends on your definition of "ok".

I have sucessfully juiced hard apples (such as fujis), oranges, and watermelon (with rind) in the green life, and it worked ok for me.
(juiced alone- each at one time)

If juicing a blend ie( apple, carrot), put in some apple, then carrot, then apple, and carrot.. which should help it to juice the fruits..

I would suggest starting off with it, and if juices to your satisfaction, stick with it, if not maybe consider another juicer, or better yet, I reccomend blending fruits..
